I took these photographs and wrote the poems during breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery, a time of profound personal transformation, healing and re-connection with Spirit. The idea for the three-heart name came from the heart-shaped marks left on my shoulders and throat after radiation treatment. I am grateful to many people for support, especially my husband, Stephen, and our children. Carolyn Tramel helped me envision Life Support Cards  ^TM and Connie Scanlon of Bogfire, Inc., used my ideas to make the cards come to life. I learned so much from Vince Lentine and Mandel Goodkin at Graphic Copy in Chicago, where the cards were printed. The three-heart logo was designed by Stephen Mikus one sweet, Sunday afternoon.
