What Does the Body Need

to be happy, to be healthy,
to be loved,

to feel an equal part
of my whole?

Exercise that is joyful
and vigorous,

affirming and dancing,
using all parts.

Deep rest to restore
and heal from daily
wear and tear.

Food that feels good to eat,
water pure and plentiful.

Being outside with green
and sun, wind and rain.

Regular, expansive breathing.
To smile often,

and relax tightness.
Trust in the messages.
