Grateful

No one right way
to heal.
No one size fits all
or for all time.

To be present and aware
and loving,
forgiving what can be,
and re-visiting.

Fill the heart with grateful,
breathe in grateful
for each small thing
noticing.

For each talk,
each easy breath,
each pain-free hour,
each tasty meal,
each soft fuzzy animal,

each day of sun or rain,
the moon shining again.
To show up…aware
for all the time you have
as much as it is…unknowable.
